According to ESPN reports, Barcelona will be without the services of Pedri for their upcoming Copa del Rey semi-final against Real Madrid.

The Spanish midfielder has been out of action since last month due to a hamstring injury he sustained in the Europa League play-offs' first leg against Manchester United.

While Pedri was expected to make his return against Madrid last weekend, he experienced discomfort during Friday's training and may now miss the next three to four weeks.

In addition to the midfield whizz-kid, Barcelona have concerns over the fitness of Ousmane Dembele, Ronald Araujo, and Frenkie de Jong.

Dembele has been out since January with a thigh injury, while Araujo and de Jong picked up injuries during the El Clasico match and withdrew from international duty afterward.

However, they should regain full fitness before Barcelona's return to action on April 1st.

With 12 league games remaining and a potential Cup final on the horizon, Xavi's side would welcome the return of Pedri and Dembele for the final stretch of an exhausting season.

Despite their struggles in Europe, Barcelona boast a substantial 12-point lead at the top of the La Liga table, and winning the domestic double would mark a successful campaign for the Catalans.
