Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot has played down recent speculation linking him with a blockbuster return to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.
Rabiot's contract at Juventus runs out at the end of the season, but there's been no breakthrough in extension talks with the record-time Italian champions as of yet.
His hesitance to put pen to paper on a new deal has sparked rumors of him trying to force his way out of the Allianz Stadium, but the player has now rubbished such insinuations.
"Very sincerely there is nothing special. I hear a lot of noise," he commented on talks over PSG's interest in taking him back, as relayed by Fabrizio Romano.
"I know it interests a lot of people but I'll say it again: I'm really focused on this end of season with Juventus."
After needing a couple of years to get used to his life in Serie A, the 27-year-old has hit the ground running under the management of Massimiliano Allegri, becoming one of the team's most consistent performers.
The Frenchman established himself in Turin last season, but he's gone from strength to strength in 2022/23, racking up seven goals and three assists in 23 league appearances.
On top of his eye-catching displays in the domestic championship, Rabiot has helped Juventus reach the Europa League quarter-finals, offering the Bianconeri an alternate route into next season's Champions League.
As such, Juventus are keen to keep hold of their star midfielder, having initiated contact with his representatives over a new long-term deal amid talks linking the ex-PSG star with a summer departure.
Among clubs interested in acquiring the France international services, there's Les Parisiens, who may have to replace the long-serving stalwart Marco Verratti.
The Italian playmaker has come under scrutiny after his embarrassing performance in the Champions League last-16 tie against Bayern Munich, receiving mass criticism for his blunders.
It's not gone down well with the former Pescara man, who is no longer satisfied with his time in Paris and could seek a way out when the transfer window opens for business in the summer.
